MEET THE ICANN FELLOWS

TCHIMMOE FEZEU Judith Samantha works as an intellectual property attorney, and is an African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) accredited agent. She is from Cameroon and is a member of the ICANN Intellectual Property Constituency.
Ms. Fezeu first became involved with ICANN in 2017 through tutoring online courses at the World Intellectual Property Organization. Through her work as a lawyer, she was exposed to ICANN org’s domain name dispute resolution policies and yearned to learn more. Ms. Fezeu was also impressed by a presentation given by an ICANN Africa representative which led to her desire to join the ICANN community, attend ICANN59, ICANN62, and ICANN65 to continue learning and sharing her knowledge. She has also participated in the Internet Governance Forum in Burkina, Cameroon, and France.
Her future ICANN meeting goals include expanding her Internet and domain name knowledge, getting to know ICANN community members, and understanding the points of view of the different countries and the Governmental Advisory Committee.

Thank You for Your Hard Work at ICANN71

Thank You for Your Hard Work at ICANN71

On behalf of the ICANN organization, I’d like to thank the community for your active participation in ICANN71. This was our fifth virtual meeting, and it is as important as ever to continue our work together despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. I’m grateful for your flexibility.

The planning and programming of an ICANN Policy Forum is determined by the community, and I hope you found the sessions productive. Key discussions about issues like global regulatory developments and working toward a multilingual Internet are crucial to our commitment to support the security, stability, and interoperability of the Internet. The work we undertake at these meetings requires your involvement and engagement to make progress possible.
I look forward to the community gathering again at the ICANN72 Annual General Meeting in October. The Board will make a decision on whether ICANN72 will be virtual or in-person in July.
